Now that we’ve officially recovered from QlikWorld 2023, we thought it was about time we give you an update on our biggest event of the year. This year the event was organized in Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. It really was a blast, and we’re so glad it’s back on the calendar now that things are getting back to normal.
Our goals were simple – to present ourselves and show people in the Qlik Community that there is a solution for application governance available. And boy, did we do just that!
Now In The Cloud
Qlik World 2023 was a bit of a coming-out party for our latest feature release, which provides the power and functionality of PlatformManager to anyone using Qlik Cloud. That’s right, you can now get all the benefits we normally preach about even if you’ve migrated to Qlik Cloud. We’ve already got customers in the cloud, and it was amazing to see the enthusiasm around this new offering live on the show floor.
Alongside that big release, we’ve also created a browser plugin for end-users who are responsible for their own sheets and visuals. With the plugin, any end user can save their sheets, visuals, and views whenever they need them – as well as share them with colleagues – all without being able to access the base code of the app itself. It’s an ideal solution for business users who want more control over their data without having to go through their IT department, and we’re going to be pushing it hard for the rest of the year.

The A-Team
Our team was out in full force at the conference. With Uco, Martin, and Raksha on the stand, we wasted no time in chatting with everyone who came by. Raksha is actually one of our QA/testers, and she has a massive amount of product knowledge, so we gave her the opportunity to demo PlatformManager to passers-by, and she did a fantastic job. She’s definitely coming to more shows in the future!
It was also great to see that Qlik aren’t just focusing on Qlik Cloud. They are still supporting on-prem in a big way, which shows that they are committed to providing solutions that meet the needs of their customer –, no matter what their preferences may be.
All in all, QlikWorld 2023 was an amazing experience for us. It was the first time we showed off our Qlik Cloud integration and it was a real springboard for new clients for the rest of this year. We were able to show off our new tech, connect with the Qlik community, and gain valuable insights into the latest advancements in the industry. We can’t wait to see what the rest of 2023 has in store for us, especially as we continue to work closely with all our customers and partners.
